What takes acrylic paint off of cement sidewalks...?

i was thinking vinegar or rubbing alcohol..but havent tried it yet..

Any suggestions? What takes acrylic paint off of cement sidewalks...?
Try one of those hot-air guns for removing paint. Vinegar %26amp; alcohol are a waste of time. To remove residue from pores of concrete try spirit paint remover, then strong detergent, or caustic soda. What takes acrylic paint off of cement sidewalks...?
Paint thinner would be what I would try. Although I'm not sure that there is anything that would take it off. You may just have to repaint it a color that you like better or go over it with new cement that you buy and mix yourself. Also they sell some really neat rock looking molds at Lowe's for sidewalks that you can put the cement in and it makes it look like a rock walk way. Hope this helps.
Forget thinners, etc. It ain't gonna happen. The paint is embedded in the concrete. Sandlblasting is really he only thing you can do.
