What is the best epoxy paint to apply to a cement floor(old &pourous) and with what additive to make it less s

high quality paint is not what causes a painted floor to last.....but like any painting projects its all in the preparation.

if the floor isn't cleaned and free of all wax and grease products 100% then no paint, no matter how good will last.

the concrete floors you see painted that last and last were done when the concrete was fresh...prior to car tires, people, etc.

car tires, oil, gas fumes, even grease sitting in a can on the shelf will give off a air borne silicon that will adhere to the floor. this silicon is what prevents paints from sticking. this can be proven by strictly opening a can of tire shine in a body shop and watch how fast just opening the bottle will contaminate the entire shop from head to toe. What is the best epoxy paint to apply to a cement floor(old %26amp;pourous) and with what additive to make it less s
Again its like someone already said its in the preparation of the floor prior to painting with epoxy. I would recommend having the floor shot blasted with little metal balls. Best to be done by a professional. Costs could be a bit high but well worth it in the long run. What is the best epoxy paint to apply to a cement floor(old %26amp;pourous) and with what additive to make it less s

Why would you post this in the dogs section - I don't think that this is a question on dogs!!!
