How can I get paint off of outdoor cement stairs?

The front steps of our house were painted with a gray cement paint. I've tried all the chemical I've seen at Home Depot and nothing has worked. Any suggestions? How can I get paint off of outdoor cement stairs?
There are many kinds of paint removers and they are not all alike. Sample a couple, they work differently.

Also abrasives, water blast, sand blast and repaint.

Are you trying to go back to natural cement? Or re-coat?

If it were me, I would go buy some paint that matched the cement color that I liked and repaint. In fact I have some in my trunk that I use to coat over graffiti on my sidewalks. Email me and I will look up the color formula for you.How can I get paint off of outdoor cement stairs?
Sandblasting is the most environmentally safe way, no chemicals.
Sand blast it, most large construction rental places rent these out. Cement is so porous your going to have a tough time with anything.
Muratic Acid. You can get it at any Mason Supply.
My hubby works at a hardware store and was in the paint dept till recently. He tells me that if it's not wanting to come off, they probably used etcher underneath it and so your best bet might be to paint over it with a colour you like better or you could try re-etching it but that it might wind up having to be repainted anyway because the etcher is designed for bare concrete. Anyway, I know that's not a great answer but that's what I could get out of him. Hope that helps.
you can go try to find a scraper at wal-mart
One way to remove paint from any surface, is to use a 1500 p.s.i. power washer , also deluded murick acid . This is rentable at most home centers good luck,Since you have use chemical solutions 2500- 4000 p.s.i. power washer
A nice bead blaster or a sandblaster will work.
try using a acid but leave it on to long and wear gloves thats how i got paint off our garage cement
